Ella’s Story
Her close friends calls her “La/Ellay” but at home she is known as “ate”. Growing up as an only daughter, she was raised to be a tough woman yet soft-hearted by her parents.
She is a pet lover (but mostly dogs) and describes herself as an intro-extrovert, often referred to as an ambivert, enjoying a balance of social interactions and solitude.
She’s good in dancing but trying hard to be a singer (Lol) and about seven years ago, she got a chance to be a portrait model despite of her height (kidding aside).
On another note, she has a strong belief that one's first love should be their last, a sentiment that reflects her commitment to meaningful and enduring relationships.
Patrick’s Story
He is usually called Pat by his friends and is the only son in his family. He was raised to be a forgiving and understanding person.
He is a pet lover, mostly cats. He's more of an introvert, but once you get to know him, his energy can skyrocket in a snap.
He is neither a dancer nor a singer, but he is pretty good at playing guitar and in longboarding and surfing.
In his free time, he mostly accompanies his best friend as a photography assistant.
He believes that if you truly love someone, you will always be able to find a reason to stay out of a million reasons to leave.
Their Relationship
They met in 2017 during a photoshoot session led by Patrick's best friend, where he was assigned to be his assistant, holding the reflector, while Ella was the model. As Patrick held the reflector and Ella was instructed to look where Patrick was, Ella got distracted when she noticed their eyes had met. They laughed after that, but little did they know it was the start of something special (lol).
They became official on February 19, 2018, entering into a long-distance relationship because Patrick is a seafarer and Ella works locally.
In their seven years of relationship, it has been a roller coaster ride—a combination of joy, excitement, fear, and sadness.
They have faced different life issues that no one could have imagined. However, with the support of their friends, guidance from their parents, and light from their creator—God, they have been able to stand strong and enjoy this momentous event in their lives—to get married and become husband and wife.
